“I fell asleep watching the film Amélie, and after I wakened, I had spilled a lot crimson wine on myself that I believed for a second that I had been shot.”
If you cannot relate to that iconic quote from The Mindy Undertaking you then’re in all probability not a rom-com fan and, properly, that simply sucks for you—particularly throughout Valentine’s Day weekend.
The style, like every other, has its hallmarks: The meet-cute (or, generally, meet-dislike). The need-they-or-won’t-they pressure. The wildly unrealistic impediment retaining the primary couple aside. The supportive-yet-sassy finest good friend.
